Privacy, in plain English

Short version: I collect what I need to do the work, I keep it in Canada where I can, and I never sell it.

What I collect

When you send an enquiry: your name, email, phone if you give it, your business name and what you told me about your project. If you're a client, I also hold your project details, documents you upload, messages, and invoices.

Why

To reply to you, to do the work you've asked for, and to keep records I'm legally required to keep (invoices and tax records for six years).

Who else sees it

The services that run this system: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, in Canada), Vercel Blob (file storage) and Resend (email) once it is configured. No advertising networks, no data brokers, and I never sell anything to anyone.

Cookies

Only the ones that keep you signed in to the portal. No advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner in the way.

Your choices

Ask me for a copy of everything I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it once our work together is finished and the records I must keep have expired. Email [email protected].

Canada

This is written to meet PIPEDA. Data is held in Canada where the service allows it. If you're in the UK or EU, the same rights apply and Canada holds an adequacy decision for commercial data.
