Terms

The working agreement, in the order it usually comes up. A signed statement of work always takes precedence over this page.

Quotes

Fixed-price quotes hold for 30 days. The scope in the quote is what's included; anything else is quoted before it's built.

Payment

Projects are billed 40% to start, 40% at design approval and 20% at launch, net 14 days. Care plans bill monthly in advance.

Ownership

Once an invoice is paid, the code, content and data for that work are yours. Domains and third-party accounts are registered in your name wherever possible.

Changes

You can pause or stop a project at any time. You pay for work completed to that point, and you keep what has been built.

Care plans

Month to month, cancel with 30 days' notice. Response times are counted in business days, Mon–Fri, excluding Ontario statutory holidays.

Liability

I carry out work with reasonable skill and care. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the work in question. Nothing here limits liability where the law says it can't be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
